Shahi Snan & Auspicious Dates
The core of the Kumbh Mela revolves around the Shahi Snan (Royal Baths), where holy Akharas process in regal splendor with silver chariots, sacred banners, and trumpets to take the first dip, opening the floodgates of divine grace for all pilgrims.
⚠️ Important Pilgrim Notice: On Shahi Snan dates, strict vehicular zones are enforced within a 10 km radius of the ghats. Only pedestrian foot-traffic and government emergency shuttles are allowed. Pre-planning your stay within the inner security cordon is strongly advised.
